Axolotl - the Magic of Regeneration

The axolotl can remind you of the magic of regeneration that is inherent in all of us.

"Axolotls (Ambystoma mexicanum) are Mexican salamanders.

These salamanders are not ordinary amphibians like frogs, for example. They do not undergo metamorphosis and thus retain their larval form throughout their lives. In addition, axolotls have a superpower: regeneration. This means that they can regenerate (replace) limbs and even organs when injured or lost.

These small animals look like a mix of salamanders and tadpoles. You can recognize them by their smile and their gills, which are extended outwards like antennae.
